Native to South Eastern Asia and Eastern Pacific islands.

Tahiti lime or Bearss lime (named after John T. Bearss, who developed this seedless variety about 1895 in his nursery at Porterville, California),  It has a uniquely fragrant, spicy aroma.

Fruits may take around 1 year to mature.

Remove crossing or wayward shoots, annually, in late winter or early spring, to maintain a healthy framework.
